"CausaliDox ‘In No Memory’: A Fusion of Electronic Brilliance and Vintage Soul"
The album’s rich, atmospheric soundscape, featuring melancholy electronic tones, smooth analog textures, and deep, psychedelic elements, is ideal for deep listening or as a dynamic film soundtrack. Along with its dark ambient compositions featuring droning sounds and subtle tone shifts, mood is emphasized above melody or rhythm, capturing emotions of unease, mystery, and isolation.
The accompanying images enrich this experience, infusing layers of visual detail into the distorted sounds and manipulated synth textures, amplifying the album’s unsettling yet beautiful atmosphere.
Artist statement:
In No Memory explores existence without trace – a complete absence from memory. In contemplating the impermanence of all things, it questions whether existence holds meaning without leaving an imprint on any system, being, or observing entity, and if such a state might be preferable.
‘Next Time The Sun’ contemplates consciousness’ fundamental experience, subject to the repetitive cycles of light and dark on perpetual rotating planetary bodies, governed by Newtonian physics.
‘The Net Worth Of Your Time And Existence’ questions the value of being when there is no imprint of it on anyone or anything.
‘No Choice’ grapples with the oppression of unsought consciousness.
‘The Futility Of Existing (A Timeline)’ evokes the thought that time allotted for existence is but a speck on an expansive timeline. All is inherently ephemeral and eternally forgotten.
‘Something Is Wrong’ expresses a dissonance with the very essence of existence.
‘In No Memory’ represents the ultimate state of never having been aware of at all, existing outside of memory.
